Fog and Snow

This is what we woke up to after our first snow. I like the snow and fog, especially if I have candles to light and tea or hot cocoa to drink; it is nice and cozy.

Christmas is Coming...

Maggie and her newest friend

Grandma Marsha let Maggie take this little elephant home with her because she enjoyed it so much during Thanksgiving. When you knock it over, it pops back up and music plays and lights flash; way fancier than her other toys... Maggie will actually reach out and touch this elephant, and get the lights and music going-pretty cute. Maggie is getting pretty coordinated. The other night as I was watching she took her pacifier out of her mouth and then put it back in, probably just a happy accident, but I am glad I saw it.

Thanksgiving at the Creason's

Here is Maggie at the Thanksgiving table, this is her first time in a high chair and she did great. Even though Maggie didn't get any turkey,(which was about twice her size) she did get to eat halfway through dinner, I guess watching us eat made her hungry.

no pictures

Well, for the past three days I have been trying to post some pictures on here, but it refuses to work. I will continue to try. We got some snow, and it is definitely wintery out there. Sam has the week off (of classes), so it has been fun having him around a little extra. Maggie will sometimes be asleep when he gets done, and she will wake up and just give him the biggest smile, as if to say she is happily surprised to see him... We are looking forward to Thanksgiving with the Creasons, and we hope y'all have a great Thanksgiving!

New Pants

I couldn't resist. My mom bought Maggie these slightly snug pants when they were here, and they are too cute on her tiny legs.
And, of course, she has on her very fashionable boots...
and sweater.

socks never stay on her feet...

I love that fuzzy red head

moving around

This morning Maggie really started to scoot around. I set her on her playmat with her head on the white blanket/pillow, and this is where she ended up. Who knows how far she could have gone.

A visit with Grandma Marsha

Grandma Marsha came up from Lewiston last night (and brought delicious steaks for our grill, and chocolate for me...). We only missed Grandpa Ted.

An Evening Walk

Something I love about living up here in Moscow, Idaho is that even in the midst of hideous duplexes with gravel instead of grass there are beautiful views, you just have to look above the roofline.

Sitting in front of the window

Maggie in Action

I don't think this is working, but I will keep trying...

update: yeah! it works, but sorry about the loud background music.

A responsible citizen

We went and voted in our local city council election yesterday. My first vote in Moscow, and Maggie's first election ever.

3 months old

Maggie turned 3 months old on Saturday, and on Sunday she rolled over! Sam and I were just hanging out with her, and as we watched she slowly rolled from her stomach to her back. We were very excited.
